Volunteer Work

Gig has devoted a lot of effort towards charitable organizations including his fathers Indian Reservation in New Jersey http://www.Powhatan.org , Goodwill, Salvation Army, Purple Heart, American Red Cross, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), The Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA), Best Friends Animal Society, Petfinder Foundation through Fox’s Cause for Paws: An All-Star Dog Spectacular (2014) and Fox’s The All-Star Dog Rescue Celebration (2015), Breast Cancer, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the homeless, The Shade Tree in Las Vegas – sheltering women, children and their pets, and New Vista in cooperation with Goodwill providing the intellectually challenged of all ages with equal opportunities and support so that they may experience life to the fullest.

In September 2006 Gig volunteered for the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) telethon and was seen on the local Las Vegas TV affiliate taking phone calls from donors at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel.

After verifying with Gig’s mother that she and Gig’s father were supporters of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Gig became a founding sponsor of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation in Washington, DC.. His founding sponsor donation was made sometime between 2007 and 2011.

Gig plans to volunteer and donate additionally to cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, homeless, intellectual disabilities and animal related organizations
